The waves
lapped gently on the rocks as birds fluttered by
While many
colours in the dying light, protruded from the sky
As the
evening air gave way to dusk, a stillness becalmed the bay
And I made
sure that in my mind I would never let this moment fray
A lone
seagull swooped and dived in the majestic sight
Then zoomed
away, incredibly fast, into a pitch black night
We watched
the golden sun go down, just like a sinking ship
Then we
went back home to the caravan and had a well earned kip!
Beautiful poem George.
